I mean to say, pressure treated decking.

Yes, it was pressure treated fencing material and yes we used the blue coated screws.  We let the wood dry out for a couple of weeks before using.  Thanks for the kind comments.

This is awesome. Did you use pressure treated lumber? If so did you use the blue cote screws?

What a great Mothers' Day gift, and in such a short amount of time! Good thing there was no need to wait for the glue to dry, etc.! The assembly line didn't hurt either. ;) Great Job, Steve!

My daughter wanted to make her mom this potting bench for Mothers day. She likes power tools and has been learning how to use them. We decided to make two (the other one is for my mother-in-law, and we did it in one afternoon. She cut all the wood for both benches, then used the Kreg Jig and pre-drilled all the boards. On assembly, we just alternated between the two benches doing the same step for each bench.

Jig settings for 2 ¾ x 1 ½ boards with 30 degree miters?
