It is still a nice piece of work, If you would not have made the top it would just be chunk of iron sitting there with nothing to make it into a nice piece of furniture.  Sometimes it takes both to make a nice featured table and in this case it is the wood that makes the metal shine.  Hope things are going well there for you.  I'll be back doing some more new projects soon.

Thanks Jay the top I made but the table it self a lady had got a grage sale with no glass in it and stop by the shop and ask if I could make a top for it.

Hello David,  I like this table.  The wood center and the iron go good together.  Your design would work well in the " arts and crafts" world and makes a great accent piece in any home.  Excellent job, as I always see you doing on each and every project.  Thanks for sharing this.
