Comment by michael mielcarek on January 28, 2016 at 9:12am: Keith - I didn't have any plans. The heat register was up against the wall directly under the window. I waited till I had the front complete and then cut the galvanized heat run to the proper size in the basement.....cut through the floor with a plunge cut with a circular saw and added a new ready made flange from Lowes and done. If you'd like more pictures of the project from start to finish send me an email to michaelmielcarek@gmail.com and I can send you a bunch of pictures back that might give you some ideas. It gave me a ton of storage......something I really needed in my kitchen. Have a GREAT DAY!
