Great work!  Repurposing is a great way to get started - you can work around the foundation pieces to help with the measurements and come away with a sturdy and usable addition to your shop or home!

Kreg Rep,

Thanks for the nice comments.  I saved the face frame from the old cabinet and built the cabinet around the face frame.  The old cabinet was not worth saving.  I also built the drawers and attached the false fronts to them.  I used the Kreg Jig for the entire project.  I am a beginner woodworker and the Kreg Jig is the only way that I know how to build anything (join wood).  It is awesome!  Thank you so much for providing such a great tool!  It gives you the confidence that you can build anything! :)

Nice bench Lorrie. I like the way you reused the old cabinets. Great idea. The bench looks sturdy, useful, and well-built.
