I made this mostly from scrap wood that I had. I recycled parts from old cabinets I took down in the garage. I also included photos of the before workbench.

Thanks so much Ken for your nice comments.  I have been using my workbench and it is working out great!  I had to do some thinking about how to do the top of the workbench.  I had some melamine doors from my old cabinet and they were 23 7/8 inches wide.  I didn't want it to look all chopped up.  I did want to incorporate the T Track in the top and this is how I decided to do it so that it would look nice and function well.  For me, it has turned out to be a good decision.  :)

Nicely engineered Lorrie.  The T track is a great idea....mm I think I have some I should incorporate in one of my benches!  Good job on the use of materials and recycling!

Free Hand Guard (dust collection)

Hi.  I'm wondering if anyone has used the Woodpecker Free Hand Guard for dust collection on their bench top router table during pattern routing.  How effective is it?  It's adaptable to any router table.  Continue

New Kreg 720Pro

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.

I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.

First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
