this is the Kreg Jig chair assembled with pocket holes. Discovered that you have to be very cautious when making the holes in the side panels for the seat and backrest, driving the screws into the slats along the grain can be tricky and split the ends of the slate. Make certain that the drill is set exactly as prescribed for 3/4" stock and do not drive the srews to hard.

goal is a re-design of the famed Adirondack chair but with West Coast style and flair. These chairs (I have a number of them) with bear West Coast Mountain Ranges names. Will post them soon. Regards PV
Look forward to seeing pics of your new improved version.
thanks but I think that I will re-engineer and re-design it for 'style', 'flair' and 'comfort'. Some of the angles need some work. I used the Kreg plan and it's good for a prototype. Be careful in driving the screws into the end grain of the slats from the back and seat support members. They are close to the edge and tend to split or crunch the wood as the tapping screw goes in (even if you you the correct gauge and bit setting and coarse grain, 3/4" stock). Will post the next generation...
Good one Pierre you have done a nice job with the chair. well done.
Oops! '...ends of the slats'

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.
I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.
First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
