Wow, that is so hot!  i need to figure out how to do that!  I have a monstrosity of cords and they get so tangled all the time.  Is there any drawings or information you can send me so I can see how you did that?  I'd like to do that on a desk I'm building for myself.  Thanks!

I think your desk turned out great and your design is quite smart. The various devices do clutter up a desk so I really appreciate that your design hides those things. Nicely done.

DJ,
Yes, the hidden drawer is on the back side of the table. I use it to hold all of my external hard drives, iPhone, and other peripherals instead of having them cluttering up the top of the desk. The hidden drawer takes all of the cords from the computer, through the grommet, and into the drawer. There's only one cord (the surge protector's cord) coming from the bottom of the desk, so the final result is very clean and uncluttered. The hidden drawer isn't visible from the back side, since there's only a routed flute on the back side to pull it open... no handle or drawer pull.

Been very happy with it so far, and the Kreg Jig made it possible, thanks for asking!

Your desk looks great. Is the hidden drawer the one on the back of the table? Did you ever determine why the finish failed?

Thanks!

Free Hand Guard (dust collection)

Hi.  I'm wondering if anyone has used the Woodpecker Free Hand Guard for dust collection on their bench top router table during pattern routing.  How effective is it?  It's adaptable to any router table.  Continue

New Kreg 720Pro

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.

I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.

First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
