Great job.A headboard holds the pillows, reinforces the bed, and it is very useful as a support mechanism for leaning and relaxing. It can also add a great deal to the decorative theme of your bedroom.
Jens, sounds like fun! I was thinking the same thing, turning one sideways or cutting them in half. I couldn't figure out how I would do it, so I went with the closet doors. I'd be interested in seeing what you do with them.
I have three solid core exterior 5 panel doors I was thinkg about head boards

I making a hex ring out of 2x4s ripped to 2 ¾ inches wide with 30 degree miters. What setting on the Jig should I used? 1 ½ is too much. Thanks.Continue
