It is comfortable and the back catches you nicely. Custions would work on this chair though.

I used a nail gun on the seat slats. I also used finishing nails to hold the slats for the back in place. My daughter used marine varnish to finish.

Nice job on the chair, I saw the plans for this garden arm chair online, I'm going to make one for my mom. I think the only thing in the plans that I would change, is the back. Instead of the dado for the back slats, I'm going to attach them with pocket screws. How did you attach the seat slats? How did you finish the chair?
