I was instructed to come up with a simple little table to cover a dog crate in a living room. Although I don't mind the work, there's no challenge in 3 pieces of plywood. I had to do something to make it at least resemble a piece of furniture. I added a drawer and made the front out of a scrap piece of pine 1x4 ripped to width, then cut up some birch blocks to use as spacers. Deciding it needed some attention paid to the bottom, i made some "feet" to give it a little personality.
We're just waiting on paint, but i think i'll be leaving the drawer and feet unpainted.
