If I lean over the woodburning while it smokes, it's like an entire campfire right in my eyes. I usually have to lightly blow on the work to keep the smoke from wafting up into my face.

The Futurama is the kid's favorite cartoon. Yeah, I'm more Simpsons than Futurama also. As for the movies, though, I could sit and watch any of those. If you can't read the second to the bottom one, that's Indiana Jones.

When this is all done, I plan on bringing it in to work to hand off to my coworker. However, before she takes ownership, I'll bring it into our photo studio and take some good quality shots - the entire shelf as well as good up close shots of the movie titles.

Don, we share much in the way of Movie tastes! Star Trek was an amazing movie in 2009. I think Futurama is the only thing on there I don't watch much of... more of a Family Guy man myself.

Great wood burning! You should post some photos or videos of the process so we can see the smoke!

Jig settings for 2 ¾ x 1 ½ boards with 30 degree miters?
