Comment by John Magee on February 3, 2010 at 9:17pm: I ordered a 4 by 8 sheet of laminate from (cabinetparts.com) and used mdf for the base 1 1/2" thick. They had the exact match for our other countertop "smokey topaz". The drawer glides are rated for 100lbs. Im pretty sure. I'll check this out 1st chance I get but Im pretty sure. I hope this helps and good luck with your kitchen and keep in touch with your project!
