Thank you Justin,  This is eastern hickory of what they call "calico" out here due to its color .  You can find almost any color in some of this wood including greens yellows and blacks. Then I select and match grain in the wood.  This is installed in a very expensive home in eastern Oregon which is cattle and horse country.  In this perticular photo of the coat closet, it is located just inside the entry of the home and also serves as a divider between the entry and the kitchen.  As you continue on in further you will come to a china hutch type cabinet.  Right behind this is the double wide refrig.  The rest of the kitchen is continued on and around the outside wall housing the double oven a lazy susan and sink dishwasher and finally the bar.  The color on this hickory is obtained  by using a semi-gloss nitro celleous catalized lacquer applied with a grayco turbine spray gun.  In this collection the utility laundry room is also done with the same hickory and the flat panel doors are done with a light maple ply.  The Indian type door decorations is the light hickory and is om my own imagination.  There is over 5o doors and drawers in the single room,  The ceilings are 9 feet.  In the collection you saw some black coloring in some of the wood.  Some of this is the dye and epoxy resin I was telling you about.  One of the most tell tale one is in the entertainment center where one of the raised panel ends has a large black spot.  I could put my fist througt this until I filled it with the epoxy resin.  what made this so striking in appearence is that I left the wood rot and rough wood in knot hole.  The owner of this entertainment center had told me he has been offered 5 thousand for it.  What I have not uploaded  is the glass panels that I sand blasted and hand painted.  If you saw the pictures you notice a long opening in the front top.  I sand blasted a cloud effect in the glass and hand painted a running horse team pulling  a stage coach.  The painting is in porceline paint that I oven baked.    This is one of the bigger  jobs I have done in Eastern Oregon.  Kreg Tools got rich off me with this project as I do not know how many hundreds of screws I used on this job.

I never displayed any of the bath room cabinet but there is a bunch.

Beautiful!  Here I thought the hickory I got was pretty.  I love the rustic!  What finish did you use?
