Dormer door for crawl space. This door was a bit of a challenge for me as it is custom made and I have never built one before. However, the challenge was not for the lack of the right tools - all my Kreg tools shown here made this project possible for me.

Projects: Dormer Door

Thanks Wally,

No, I did not route out the grooves.  That is a face frame (pocket holed together) laminated onto one solid piece.  The center is also a seperate piece laminated on.  I used a router to profile the edges prior.

The solid piece is 1/2" and the face frame parts are 3/4" making the overall thickness of the door to be 1 1/4".

Did you just route out those grooves? This project looks like one solid piece of wood... Very nice / professional look
