Thanks for the reply, I have a customer wanting a high gloss on a table in the near future and will give this a try. Ive been using polycrylic and just not getting that kind of gloss

It has 5 coats of Varathane Polyurethane on the top of it.  I used the kind intended for toys and such.  It is supposed to have a harder finish.  I was quite liberal with the coating and let each coat cure for the designated time and then reapplied.  The rest has 3 or so coats.  It is very glossy, but not as much so at the epoxy finish I did on my other table (pictures are on my page).  This table finish with the polyurethane is quite a bit less expensive and looks good also however.  Here is a link to the product I used http://www.rustoleum.com/product-catalog/consumer-brands/varathane/...
