You were right about those center drawer slides they do wobble a bit.  I think for next build will use two or possibly side mounted ones.

Correct, a proper inset drawer base involves dados to create the groove for the base.  Sandra has a good tutorial here: http://sawdustgirl.com/2013/06/17/how-to-build-a-simple-cabinet-drawer

Double check the recommended bottom clearance on those center mount drawer glides before building the drawers to get the correct inset on the base.

Thanks for the tip on the drawer base Jaime.  I'm fairly new to this so just checking by inset drawer base you mean that it is fixed inside the sides rather than being fixed to the underside of the drawer sides?

Thanks Andy, great idea for the planked sides.  I do love a planked look.  A note on the center mount drawer slides (this was my first experience), if possible go for an inset drawer base to lessen the wobble.   My drawers are per Ana's plans, boxes with a base so when the drawer is fully extended it does wobble ever so slightly (if you try to wobble it).  This doesn't bother me but I thought it was worth mentioning.  Good luck with your build, please share the results!

Love this design.  Just bought the wood last night to start making it! I'm going to use three 1 by 6s joined together for the sides though instead of plywood as the only change.  Hope it turns out as well as yours! :-)

I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.

First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
