This is my first "made from scratch" building project and the first time I used the Pocket Hole Jig. I designed and made this custom cabinet for my daughter's apartment. Space was limited and a standard depth unit would not fit. I used 3/4" maple ply and trimmed the top with moulding and edge banded the rest. The door and legs are from IKEA, chosen because they match the armoire unit already in the bedroom. The cabinet is finished in black stain with 4 coats of poly to match the existing furniture.
