I finished the wood with Deft lacquer.Applied with rattle can and placed 5 coats with 0000 steel wool between coats.To hang I have predrilled and drilled a 3/8 spade hole about 1/2 inch in to stiles to place wood plug in to cover screws.I will leave plug unglued so in case we want to move it .it will be no problem in doing .

That looks spalted to me. Curly has fine grain and quilted has the 3d effect. Beautiful all the same

Jig settings for 2 ¾ x 1 ½ boards with 30 degree miters?
