That is a cool rocking airplane. We are going to have a granddaughter soon and I have been gathering ideas on toys to start building and I really like it. Any tips you have in that area will be great to hear.
Thanks for the response. I have been practicing on scrap so as not to mess up the real cabinet. I think I have it down but I will post a update to let you know. Yes they still look great and as long as shes happy thats all that matters.
Hi Renee,
To be honest with you, that corner cabinet was probably one of the hardest things I have ever built. Our river house is not much more then an old cabin but we love it. There is not a square corner in the place. The back corner is built at 90 degrees. My plane from the beginning was to just use trim at the top since the sides would be hidden by the side cabinets. The front I should of thought out a little more because my pocket holes didn't really help to attach the face frame. I ended up gluing it on. I probably should of practiced a little more but the little lady is really happy with the way it turned out so I'm happy too. Wish I could be more help.
Hello Kelly
The kitchen cabinets look great. Iam making my daughter her laundry room cabinets. They will just be wall cabinets and may I add this is my first cabinet build. I have made many other pieces of furniture but no cabinets. My guestion is on the corner cabinets do you leave a little space between the corner of the wall and cabinet being the walls may not be square. I was thinking that the panels that go against the wall should be cut at 22.5 degrees and the add the spacer between both panels. Not sure if you understand what Iam trying to say. Like I said this will be my first cabinet build. If you could give any info that will help I would greatly appreciate that. Thanks Renee.

I've been using my Adaptive Cutting System table for a few years now, and it's been really solid. This past week was the first time I ever needed to use the miter guide though.I was rebuilding some shelving in a tiny closet and I discovered the…Continue

I am building a small trunk for a military friend to put some belongings in. I have made legs out of ash hardwood and will make the sides out of 1/2” or 3/4” Baltic birch plywood. The legs are 1.5” thick by 2” wide. So since I’m drilling pockets in…Continue

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.
I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.
First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…

Several months ago, I purchased the Kreg K4MS so that I could build the Lego Table as outlined on the companion "buildsomething" web site which exclusively uses pocket hole construction. I have considerable experience with conventional…
