Vac hose - The weight of the hose doesn't seem to be a problem.

Height - It is sitting on top of my tablesaw and it is a workable height for me. I plan to use it outside on sawhorses after the snow melts. The unit is 4-1/2 inches high without the K4.

very good idea. I need to make something like this for my K4 kit. I think I use some of your ideas and other I put together. I was think about adding a fence to hold long boards and a cleat to hook on the the end of the bench or so I can use bench dogs to hold it in place and it doesn't move back when you are drilling. I like the storage a lot so you know where everything is.

just one question, what height is the table for easy drilling? another question how tall are you, makes a difference with the height.

great idea, every one with kreg jig builds are giving me some great ideas, just need to combine all the ideas and make my own. thanks for all the ideas!
