The hardboard is at the same level as the table. you only have that small depression on the right.

Very nice cabinet. About the Ryobi tools - I also have them and use the table saw. It cuts great however as you mentioned there is a problem with the clearance plate. Initially I added two washers under it because it dropped lower than the table. It helped but you still have that big gap and cannot cut small pieces safely. I managed to create a zero clearance plate out of 1/4" hardboard and it works great. There is still a small depression but its alot safer. I will come back with a photo.

the band saw for ryobi is awsome. the table does really well. when cutting on the side that has the red plastic peiece by the blade can cause a slight angle on the wood. but for anything bigger than 1.5 inches you are good to go. i have not had any issues with ryobi tools and they have preformed pretty well for me so far...that and you cant beat the price. vasil i will send them here shortly. i have them in sketch up

Another excellent project! By the way, I notice that you have a lot of Ryobi tools and I was wondering how you feel about their performance, in particular, the bench top band saw? Would you purchase it again? I have mostly Ryobi tools and they have performed well and I need a bandsaw. Thanks.

I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.

First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
