Your god child will sure love having their own furniture. I hope you are going to use steel wool between coats of poly. The dark walnut stain is going to look really nice and it will show the grain of the pine as well. You did a great job on the nightstand and I can't wait to see the the twin bed when it is finished.

Now that is one good looking piece of work. Like that beaded door and the total look of the night stand. The black colored hardware really make the color of the pine standout. Excellent build and nice craftsmanship. Thank you for showing your work.
