The Chief’s Shop 4x4 Raised Bed makes an attractive raised bed that offers plenty of room for roots to reach deep, which will result in healthier plants. Design features include a slight curve on the top slats on two sides, as well as vertical stiles that offer visual appeal and structural support. Stain or paint it in a two-tone color scheme as you see here, go with one color, or leave it natural.
Lumber required includes: 2x4s, 2x6s, and 2x8s. You’ll need about 20 cubic feet of soil to fill it. Overall dimensions (outer): 60 1/2 inches wide x 56 inches deep x 16 inches high
You’ll need a miter saw, jigsaw, drill driver, and Kreg Jig to build it.
