The photographer was a seven Euro flexable tripod i bought for my digital camera, i just fine tuned the position of the camera relative to where i was working and set a ten second timer. Sometimes i had to retake a picture because the positoning was a liitle bit off. My workshop doesn't need a heater as the lights keep it warm, the jacket was to keep the dust off and i'd remove it before entering the house. I must buy a workshop apron, another thing to add to the list.

Take care.

Hey Ivor,

I checked out all of the photos you have posted, and I must commend the photographer on the excellent work, that they did in taking them all  well centred, no out of focus, and great shots of you working away.

It must have also been "bloody cold" (an australian term) in some of them judging from the way you were dressed.

I know what yo mean about the floor drill press, I have a similar set up to you, my original drill (an AEG) was over 16 years old when I eventually had to bin it, as I could not buy parts to replace the field coils, after cutting 100 mm wheels with a hole saw.

So I now troll ebay to see if I can buy a second hand press one day.

Regards

Robert Brennan

A nice Jet floor standing drill press with a morticing attachment and a drum sanding kit is badly needed plus a 18 or twenty inch Jet bandsaw with all the trimmings. I'm open to all offers of corporate sponsorship, failing that Santa Claus might be getting a letter this Year!

Looks good,

nice surface finish.

Whats this?  no band saw or bobbin sander I hear,

After producing such nice work I reckon a reward is in order

otherwise maybe you had better change your tag to "the Non Tool Nut"

New Kreg 720Pro

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.

I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.

First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
