Thanks Ken for that nice comment.  It was quite a bit of work about 30 hrs or so but really made the customer happy.  Have many inquiries about me making them one however if I do I will make it different in some way or another to make it a one of a kind.  This was build entirely from scratch and I never used a plan building it entirely piece by piece designing it as I built it. More fun that way.

Thank you David, That is a very nice comment.  I try very hard to make things as good as I can.  You have some pretty nice projects as well.  I always take a look frequenty for something you have done.  This is a link to some more photos on the chest.  I will be moving everything over to a new location under "project" soon . It will take a bit to load and is musical.  Thanks again for looking and for the thoughtful comment.

Details details details, great project. It is very inspiring to see what you did with pocket hole joinery. So much for not a panacea!

How very true that this technology gives us that opportunity to connect with a great many.  Going further it is the ones out there like the two Gentlemen, Dave Boehm and Ted W Broussard, who recogonize and take time to convey their thoughts that is the real inspiration and driving force for all of us whom create.

It just occurred to me that because of this technology (the internet and this website) there would be little or no opportunity for Jay or any of us to show our work, for us to see these wonderful pieces like Jay's chest, to be able to comment on it (and inspire the artist), or to be inspired by it.  This is a wonderul medium and a great resource don't you think?  I am greatful for it.

Dave, I'm blown away from receiving such a comment.  It is the best any person could ever expect to receive in a lifetime.  It leaves me speechless that someone would look at my work and appreciate it enough to take the time to convey their appreciation.  It is like receiving a priceless gift.  Yes I love woodworking and creating from it, but  it is those whom appreciate it, that is the real reward for the work that is put in to it, not the reward of money.   It is very humbeling occassion when someone takes time out of their own life to express their feelings and appreciation in writing.  For this it means alot to me and for this I am very thankful for your feelings and thoughtful expressions.  Respectfully, jay
