Anyone into scroll work? The headboard(shown) and foot board are identical. I'm new to scroll work so they took me approx. 60 hours per end, and lots of blades. To many to count.

Thanks, I enjoyed building this project for my grandson(and his mom).  She found it in a catalog and asked if I could build it.  I made it 36" long instead of the 27" the plan called out.  He was at least one year old before they had to buy a bigger bed. At the time I did not own a lathe so the spindles are just straight 1 x 1 cherry that I rounded off on all four sides and then ran them through the router and put a cove on all four sides.  I think all together I made 40 of the them just in case I goofed up making the tenion on each end.  I know, TMI...
