You are so right. Maybe we could invent a sled that could hold them in place and be millionaires!
I know what you mean about the panels being tricky because of being narrow. I have done many with the arch and that is almost dangerous. Cutting the arch in the upper rail puts your finers very close to the spinning bit and with nothing to support the cut other than the material riding on the bearing tends to quicken the heart rate. Those narrow doors are hard to beat though for making a ellegent looking cabinet. Again Justin, a very nice job. I'm looking forward to seeing the base cabinets.
Jay, I really appreciate the comment! The panels were a little tricky to shape since they are so narrow, but all in all they turned out ok. I'm getting ready to start on her base cabinets now....
Justin, very nice work making a great set of cabinets for a lucky person. I really like the tall narrow doors done in raised panels. Narrow doors makes a beautiful looking cabinet and when done is a group like the photos above, you can't ask for more. This design is excellent and finishing it with a natural finish gives the customer a full package.
Cherry is also a nice wood to not only to cut and carve but an excellent wood to own. It will only get more valuable as time passes but also it will gain some charm from the aging process. Very nice craftsmanship.

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.
I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.
