Small Preserve Cabinets I built for my two sisters.
I used fir for the stile and rails, knotty pine paneling for the panels, and a birth carcass. I also used oak for the shelve edging, back panel, and front lower bottom rail. The top is also birch with knotty pine edging.
I finished them in Homestead House 'craftsmen' milk paint and then distressed the finish then sealed it all inside and out with Watco clear lacquer. The handles I carved from a chunk of Walnut.
