Comment by Russ Haynes on November 24, 2014 at 5:26pm: I'm sorry, Steven, but I did not use any plans for this build. I figured out the height I wanted the bench, which was determined by the height of my table saw table. I figured out the length I wanted based on the amount of room I was willing to let the bench take up in my shop, and figured out the width based on how far I wanted to reach from one side to the other. Everything else came together based on the lumber I was able to find and mill to usable amounts. I also needed to account for where the vise hardware would be mounted and building the back vise chops into the bench top. I highly recommend Chris Schwarz's books on workbench design, construction, and use -- there are two of them.
