This is a picture of the project I just completed. My wife wanted it built with each self being different sizes and widths and didn't want it built as 3 seperate boxes screwed together. It had to be suspended off the ground because of the baseboard heater. I had to dado each shelf, top and bottom on some. It also had to be strong enough to be screwed to the wall. I used Kreg pocket hole screws for the top, bottom and supports on the top and bottom shelves. I did install 2 feet just in case. It ended up being 7 foot by 5 foot. I could not get it up 2 flights of stairs in one piece. So, I had to built it, take it apart, and sand , prime, and paint each pieces and bring everything upstairs and reasemble.

Hi James,

My son is 4 and about 42". He knows (or at least we told him) that he can get the toys off the 2 bottom shelves only. We pull the books out when he wants them, usually at night when we read to him. We learned earlier not to put any stools in the house because they love to climb up "anything"

Thanks

I presume this is in a kid's room. How tall are the kid/s? If short do they have a stool/ladder to reach without "climbing"? I would hate to see someone get hurt.

Looks really good, excellent job!

I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.

First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
