This bench is very heavy. I estimate it weighs close to 190 pounds. I used linseed oil as a finish since it will be on a covered patio. When I had it in my driveway taking pictures, I had neighbors wanting to know if it was for sale. I built it for the people who owned the ranch I got the log from.

I have additional slabs from another blue oak tree that I will be making tables from. They have some really great figuring and spalting in them.
