Black Walnut Bench 5/4 stock

An elderly widow here in western NC gave me the rough 5/4 stock of black walnut that came from a tree that fell in their yard during a storm about 60 years ago. The wood has been stored inside since then. I bought my Kreg Master Kit about a month ago, and this was my first project for the jig. I had to buy some 2" pan head screws on-line since the screw assortment kit that Kreg sells did not include that size. Bench is nice and sturdy, as you would expect. There are 4 light coats of semi-gloss poly as a finish, which coats the edge bark as well. The railing in the background is locust for the posts, and mountain laurel for the stiles.
