Jl , that is suppose to be 1 1/4 " blue coat screw,s !!
JL , very nice looking bench and table , look,s rock solid , like your design !! And you are right , a little glue never hurt,s , also you can get the 1 /4" blue coat at AMAZON , I buy them in 500 count boxes, hope this help,s ,a job well done , thank,s for sharing , JIM !!
This project was built with treated 2x4s and 1x4s. I ripped the 1x4s down to 3" because I liked the look. I did use the blue kote screws and glue on all joints. Because I couldn't find 1 1/4" blue kote screws, I used deck screws on the back. For the back rails, I used 1" decking and 3/4" pickets to give it depth. The joints came out strong, but gluing never hurts. If I had the HD jig I would have felt better about the overall project. The wood is soft and when wet, like it was, it is easy to overdrive the screws.
JL;
Like the matching bench great place to set the beer and burger or just your feet. Did You use any glue and normal screws or blue cote?
Thanks Jeff

First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
