Kreg Owners' Community

The top of the bench is two layers of 3/4 material sitting atop the cabinets. I mounted my jig atop a piece of MDF that I dadoed so that the total height to the surface of the jig was level to the two layers of material. I then notched the top to fit the jig like a puzzle piece and notched the second layer to accommodate the MDF base.

I am happy with the Kreg Portable table top,I made but if I had only seen this first I would have incorporated this idea.  Excellent idea.

They are screwed together.....then screwed to the cabinets from the inside.
