Thank you very much for sharing. Just saw the two photos of your kitchen and it was kind of creepy because its pretty much exactly what we are thinking of, including those drawer/door pulls. I was thinking of sticking to the European style of cabinets though and my wife has her own idea of coordinating colors. Did you follow a plan or draw it up yourself, did you use melamine or plywood (I am thinking of using melamine). If you have any words of wisdom it would be much appreciated. But again BRAVO on a great job.
Thanks
All of the pieces in this bedroom set have the individual planks of knotty pine beadboard. They are actually 3/16" thick like many of the beadboard choices at the depot or lowes, eventhough they are marked as 1/4". The face frames of these drawers are 1/2" poplar with a 3/16" notch routed out with a straight cut bit for the pieces of beadboard to sit in.
I have a few photos of my kitchen up for viewing. i think the cabinet doors I have are exactly what you guys have in mind. They are 3/4" stock routed with a Bosch tongue and groove bit from lowes. Around $50. The cabinet doors have 1/4" mdf beadboard inserted as panels. This is the only local source I can find for 1/4" beadboard that is actually a 1/4" not 3/16". If I recall correctly the beadboard comes in small sheets approximently 32" x 48" and is from lowes. Around $13.
Let me know if you want some pics of my kitchen doors or close ups, etc.
Very nice work... My wife wants kitchen cabinets that are pretty much exactly like that (beadboard). Which router bit did you use on the rails and stiles of the drawer fronts? Mortise and Tenon or tongue and groove or.....? How thick is the beadboard, I think I can get it locally at 1/4 in that should be good enough.
Thank you for your input and great job, looks very professional.

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.
I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.
First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
