Using the Kreg Jig 2x4 Workbench plan as my guide I modified the bench to fit some of my needs, like a Shop Light, Charging Station for cordless tools and a power-strip for easy access to power. I also added some 6in Casters to the bench and a Peg board to help hold tools.

cool, thanks, I don need another bench and with wheels, so this will do perfectly :-)

Sort of, I used the Kreg Jig 2x4 Workbench plan to create the base. http://www.kregtool.com/images/icons/2x4_bench.pdf (Seen here)
I then changed some of the dimensions.
2x4 Cut List
2 - 72" Long (Supports for the Peg Board and Light)
2-28" Long (Front Leg Supports, 6" shorter than original to compensate for the caster Wheels
4- 37" Long (Side Braces, same as original plan)
4-19.5" Long (End Braces, same as original plan)
MDF Panels: (Grab 3 2'x4' pre-cut panels from your local box store - about $9.00 a piece)
1 - 22.5" x 44" to make a shelf (My suggestion would be to rip the 2' x 4' Sheet to 22.5" first, in order that you have a 1.5" backing to add to the back, to help hold the surge strip)
2- 24"x48" Top Panels - (These get a 2"x4" slots cut into them 2" from each end to butt it up to the back legs and make for a clean look on the back.) (I wish I had taken pictures prior to cutting this, but found this site after the fact)
Peg Board - 4'x8'x1/4" sheet - This piece will be cut down to 44" x 42" to screw to the back of the back legs.
Items needed:
7 - 2"x4"x84" boards
3 - MDF Panels 2'x4'
100 - 1 1/4" Coarse Self Tap Square Head Screws
50 - 2 1/2" Blue Coat Self Tap Square Head Screws
50 - 1 1/4" Wood Screws - Torx Heads are always easier.
4 - 6 in Caster Wheels (Suggest: 2 Locking for the front)
25 - 1 1/4" x5/16" Lag Screws
2 - Shelf Brackets
1 - 48" Shop Light
2 - T8 48" bulbs
1 - Surge Protector
As needed - Peg Hooks (Menard's, Wal-Mart, Lowe's sells these for reasonable prices)
I have this "Plan" written out with Step by Step instructions for my Kreg Jig, if you would like them I would have no problem with sending them to you. My plan was to add them to my blog but haven't had time yet.
now that is nice, and functional. Was the plan somewhere? I could'nt figure it out
Yes, you are right, Rosemarie. I already have my next project for tonight. Can't wait to get started and working this evening. Hopefully I will have pictures up tonight on the first stages.
Very nicely done. It amazes me how many things we can build with one simple box frame... And Kreg jig of course.
Thanks, Ken.

Hi. I'm wondering if anyone has used the Woodpecker Free Hand Guard for dust collection on their bench top router table during pattern routing. How effective is it? It's adaptable to any router table. Continue

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.
I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.
First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
