This used (2x) 2"x4"x8" Redwood and (10x) 5/8"x 5-1/2"x6' Cedar Dog-Ear Wood Fence Pickets. I used desk screws, kreg blue kote, brads and of course titebond III wood glue.

Great idea on the tiered planters! A great space saver and great use of pallets and reclaimed wood. Well done!
Each post is 62" and the base is 19" which I am not certain why I left that out of the model pic
Thanks Steve! We've been wanting to start our own garden but we need to have the utilities mapped out first. To give us the little push that we needed I decided to design this planter stand. Each row has three one inch holes for drainage but I'll have to play it by ear to see if it needs more. So far we have cucumbers and romain lettuce germinating on the top tier and herbs in the lower tiers.
My wife showed me this plan she had seen on another site last week. Great idea. Looks good and saves alot of space.
