The buffet cabinet.

A friend saw some of the things that I could build with my Kreg Jig and asked me to build her a buffet syle cabinet.
This is the biggest thing I have built so far.

very cool Gary - great idea on the doors. Also love the finish more than I thought I would (I'm a natural wood guy myself).

Thanks for sharing...

Im afriad I dont have a cut list she told me the dimensions she wanted and I made it up as I went along.

The material is 15/32 B/C pine plywood (its a little thin but it's what she picked ).

the doors were  1"x4" white wood, the trim around the tile is a 2"x4".

the tile is recycled glass tile that was on sale at lowes and the underlayment for the tile was OSB as were the shelves.

The inserts in the doors were backsplash pieces found in the kitchen cabinet area at Lowes.

the dimensions were 8' long x 42" high x 24"deep and the shelves were placed at 15" from the cabinet floor.

the total cost in material including grout ,tile adhesive , inserts, hardware and paint was around $400

Im truly flattered that you would like to reproduce this cabinet!

If there is anything else you need to do it id be more than happy to help.

Do you have a cut list for this?

Thank you. It's about 85% complete now just a shelf to install and some paint.
She wants it painted gloss black to match the cstom stain on her cabinets.
I myself like the natural look but then it's not my cabinet.

New Kreg 720Pro

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.

I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.

First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
