Sturdy Work Bench

I bought a piece of wood at a yard sale that was 6.5 ft. long, 3 ft wide and 2 inches thick and was oak. Price $20. I spent about $20 on Pressure treated 4X4, 2X6, and 2X4.

Its kind of addictive. The more I use it the more I want to use it. Kreg might have to come up with a 12 step program for guys like me. LOL
I'm very pleased with the work table and the price. Thanks.

Since I work out of my carport, and I didn't have a really good work surface, this is what I came up with. The table top is 2 inches thick and is several pieces of wood, kind of like a chopping block, but very uneven on the bottom. I did everything by myself except flip the table upright. This sucker is "heavy". From the surface top to the floor is 38 inches which is a good height for me.
