Polly the Plywood Ripper

I needed a way to rip ply at home and not have it done at the store. I built this with three "standards" and a 4th brace that is notched so it slides back and forth. This allows me to clamp in four places, making cutting safer and faster. I use a guide for the saw that is also clamped in place. I had to build this low because I am only 5'2". Until now cutting across 4' of plywood in one cut had been impossible for me. Using the pocket holes to join the standards I built this in just over an hour from 2x4's. Keeping with my tradition of naming my workspaces I christened her Polly the Plywood Ripper.

I like! Since I have such limited space, I think this would work nice and allow for rips off the table saw of which I do not have any extensions so ripping a full sheet of ply on it is impossible alone for me.

This is great!   I have always wanted the similar apparatus at Home Depot.  You are an innovator.
