The timber is red cedar. The boat will be fiberglassed on the outside and inside as for the weight, not sure yet the plan is to keep it as light as possible. Two people should be able to lift the canoe with out any effort.

That's amazing. What kind of wood and how do you seal it? How much do you think it will weigh when done?

Jig settings for 2 ¾ x 1 ½ boards with 30 degree miters?

I making a hex ring out of 2x4s ripped to 2 ¾ inches wide with 30 degree miters.  What setting on the Jig should I used? 1 ½ is too much.  Thanks.Continue
