My first project

I'm new to building stuff, but I really love the pocket hole concept and how Kreg makes it easier for us novice. I built my first project using the Kreg K4MS Jig Master System. My project was a work bench which I desperately needed. Great project, because I needed a workbench and it gave me time to practice. I used these 2x4 workbench kit plastic legs I bought a long time ago to save some money.

I did learn that the location of the pocket hole referenced to the end of the board and the board you're attaching it to is trial and error. The length of screws to use seems to be a bit of trial and error too. Overall, I think once I get a hang of things, it should become easier.

New Kreg 720Pro

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.

I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.
