mobile work bench

Do-it-all Mobile Work Bench

The original plans are from the Dec/Jan 2005 issue of The Family Handyman Magazine. I increased the length to fit the area in my garage and increased the size of both end shelves and one of the side shelves. The shelves are sized for my table saw and miter saw with my router attached to the router top. You can remove the router top and use the plain shelf (per plan) on that end if needed. Due to the length of the project, added extra supports under the top and shelves (using the Kreg Jig as much as possible). The top & shelves have 3 coats of MinWax Stain/Polyurethane. The last step was adding 20 amp outlets on all sides to power the saws, etc.

With all four of the side shelves up, you have a work surface of 57"x 127". Bench top is 26"x 84"x 37" high. The router table top & accessories are from Rockler. The locking casters are from Woodcraft. The John Sterling brand shelf brackets and hardware was ordered from HardwareWorld.com. All lumber, screws, electrical components, etc. was obtained locally at Lowe’s.
I can provide specific part numbers, cut sizes, more photos, etc. if interested

Can I get a copy of those plans too? Can't find them on the website either. Looks like a pretty cool workbench for my needs.

Would I be able to get the plans? Or where would I find them?  I have tried the magazine and was not able to find it.
