Well I finally got it done this was more work than I thought it was going to be but now I have a track system and after seeing how the micro adjustments worked on my table saw and band saw. So I made micro adjustments for two of three stop blocks .
The wings are 8” tall and 4’ long by ¾” plywood with a 5/8” wide by 3/8” deep rabbit across the top.
The fronts are made out of MDF the top piece is 1” tall by and 4’ long by ¼” the bottom piece its 2 ¾’’ tall by 4’ long by ¼” but if you look at the pic you well see a crack that runs the hole lathe of it I put a bevel on the bottom so the dust has some where to go other than building up in front of my stop block .
As for the black screws they are 8” apart and it has to be counter sink them so your block well go over them. And no glue I don’t know hal long the MDF will last I don’t think that toilet blots are to be used like this.
The deck is made out of ¾” MDF with melamine with ¾” pine trim all together it was 10 ¼” wide by 4’.
Now the hard part the micro adjustments I made them out of 3/16” pixy glass and 4 micro adjustment wheels that I had in a box I don’t throw nothing away you never now when your going to need it.
But any way the stop blocks are made out of ¾” ply wood with melamine on bath side’s it makes easier for them to slide. The handle’s are hand made .

Thanks it was alittle work but its works great.
Amazing job! You gave me so many ideas. I want to do mine like this!
thanks Lorrie
Hi David. I like your miter saw station. Very Nice! :)
Thanks everyone and ya Jay the 12" skil is sweet but it was more power than I thought it would be and after useing it a 10" is like a toy . But the station it self is a upgread the last one was some 3/4" ply wood and a card board box for a dust cover and the drasser business is doing great Im still 5 drasser's behind and some other stuff as well thanks for asking.
and thanks again guys
David good job on the miter saw station , well done , thanks for sharing , Jim !
David your system looks great, Nothing like a well tuned miter saw for speeding up shop work and still be highly accurate. The stop system always works well as it hard to cut unequaled parts. You almost have to work at it to mess up.
I have a new 12" hitachi slide saw that I will be adding to my current miter saw's location soon. I put a forrest brand blade on it and it is scary as to how good it's accuracy is. I'm sure you will be happy with the new system.
How is the dresser business doing? I got an order today for another one of the bid 12 drawer beaded face frames. It will all be mission Oak style.
Thanks for sharing your new miter saw project.

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.
I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.
First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
