I drilled on the long side. I have the k3 system and the k4 sets up the same. Set the jig to 1 1/8" and set the collar stop to 3/4". For the side pieces I drilled one dead center and the other I centered up on the A and B slots. The bottom side I used A/B slots centered up also. This allows for glass insertion and back panel. I have tried using a 45* clamp with some luck but best results was using the IRWIN clamps to a table and drill the screws in. If u have any questions feel free to ask.

Can you explain in more detail.  I am making a flag case with all angles of 45's this sounds like your plan when you say "I prefer to have the bottom piece set inside of the top two pieces".  I would like to use the Kreg jig but am unsure what jig you are using and where you are positioning from.  Are you drilling on the inside or outside? When you say 'Drill to 3/4"' is that where you are setting the stop collar depth?  Thanks for any help you can give me.  The flag case is for my father who passed away in 2009 after slipping on ice and cracked his skull. He was a retired WWII Army Air Corp B29 pilot.

Yes. Set jig to 1 1/8". Drill to 3/4". Drill two on one side and one on the other (both centered on wood). I prefer to have the bottom piece set inside of the top two pieces.

John, I like the display you made. I am working on plans now for my son and a friend of mine who recently returned from Kuwait. Did you use the Kreg on the angle top and corners also?

I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.

First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
