Hand-cut dovetails

In between other projects and shop upgrades required for my new saw and DC system, I've been spending a lot of time on hand-tool-only projects. Specifically, I have spent the last couple of months working on hand-cutting dovetails. I have used the Veritas and David Barron guide systems, plus invested in a couple new saws. This is the first project I was able to complete with only hand tools (after rough-cutting the stock). It's a loose-lid rosary box my wife immediately claimed. Poplar finished with quasi-french-polished-in danish oil.

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.

I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.
