Extension Cord Holder

I have to give credit for the idea for this project to Martyn Gunton. I saw his original project and then added my own twists to it. I used 1x4 poplar wood. It was 24 inches long so that i could put the etching on it. On the original project, i believe a paddle bit was used to make the holes. I use a router with a bull nose bit (at least that is what i call it). I made the circles using 1" pvc pipes and then routed the circle to make the cups. The ropes are 550 paracord. Another my hobbies is learning how to tie knots in this. They are supposed to have strength up to 550 pounds. This should be sufficient for extension cords. I left the cords long enough that if the loop at the end needed to be moved it could. This is to accommodate different size coils of cords. In the back I used the pocket holes and then some hefty L brackets to reinforce the bottom since the entire weight of the cords will be pulling down on the base. I am making one for my boss and one for my father in law for Christmas.
