Ethel

My 1929 Model A Ford Huckster made from recycled oak skids and flooring. My biggest project to date and took me about 6 years to get it where I thought it was finished. While I was making the tool boxes and buying some period tools to go along with them, I had the produce bed you see in a couple of the pictures. It all started out as the bare chassis you see in the one picture and a question from my dear wife of: "And you see possibilities here?" It made Ford's 100th Anniversary web site, Sears tool catalogs because of the vintage tools I have and still use in my shop, AACA's web site, various news papers and even the Woodsmith Shop TV show. Alas a year ago I had to sell it because of spine and joint problems that made it uncomfortable to drive. Now it's over in Switzerland being enjoyed and driven.

I miss it every time I go out thru the garage to do something. BUT I don't miss the discomfort it was giving me to drive it around. Rather somebody else get to enjoy it for a while. I haven't head from the new owners for about a year now so maybe she changed hands again. That project got me a very nice woodshop...again Thanks to my dear Wife. Thanks for looking her over Frank.

That is so nice it's hard to put into words. You did a beautiful job. Really too bad you had to sell her.

Man it would have been a lot quicker to make some of this with a pocket jig 12 years ago!

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.
