nice work.
I wanted some weight to the top so I glued up 2"x8" boards to make the panel. To make the top opening air tight I bought some 3/4"pipe insulation and installed it around the top edges. Works like a Champ. I could use some greater air suction at the end of the hose, but I am satisfied overall. I get very little fine dust in the filter bag up top.
Success. After finishing up the sides and adding the door to the bottom, I threw a sheet of chip board across the top and connected the blower. Ran the table saw and the jointer to see how well the chip separation worked. I was rewarded with very little fine dust in the blower filter and a mass of chips in the bin. Now to finish up the top and plug up some of the leaks.
Further progress today. Hopper bottom is in, along with left, back, and right sides. Intake and exhaust dust ports have been fitted and glued in place. The black plastic part of the dust ports is removable. Having a nail gun really helped, but I had to manually hand jam all the screws. The pine is just too soft to use my cordless driver.
Oh yeah, forgot to say, this is what happens when you get free wood! LOL
Started with a 2'6" x 2'3" base of chip board and roughly 2"x2" boards. I cut the 8 uprights next as they would all share a common length. Third came the Left and Right sides cut to fit the 2'3" ends as near on exact as I could get them. The back came next, sized to place the ends at the edge of the base. At this point I stopped work for a while to ponder the access door. With that decided I crafted the front frame to fit. Every things was dry fit, then I glued and screwed each side in turn starting on the left side. Once the sides were all in place I started fitting the bin bottom slopes.
Wife accused me of building my own cage.

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.
I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.
First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
