Building stairs for my house.

it is a Duplex.
The house was built in 1905 on a grade, the front of the house is just above ground level
The back of the house, the basement is on ground level.

This is a view of the back of the house.
The middle section on the back of the house was added when plumbing was added, it was built on stilts.
The porches were added later, they were built on stilts.
I jacked up the whole back of the house and built the 2 small additions under each porch, they will be the laundry rooms.
I left the small cubby hole in the middle because the sewer vented there and I also have the hose bibs mounted there, electrical outlets, and a light.
I wanted to minimize the amount that the stairs extended into the patio area since it is a small patio.

Used the Right Angle Clamp to hold the end of the stringer up so I could set the height of the other end.

Step 1 done.
Remove the siding, put up flashing, find the studs, predrill, 5" lag bolts, J-Chanel around the wall string, cut all of the siding, put the siding back up.

Free Hand Guard (dust collection)

Hi.  I'm wondering if anyone has used the Woodpecker Free Hand Guard for dust collection on their bench top router table during pattern routing.  How effective is it?  It's adaptable to any router table.  Continue

New Kreg 720Pro

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.

I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.
